![]() ![]() I just got off of the phone customer service with Jeff great man guys are lucky to have them anyway I bought a 5‘ x 5‘ x 7‘ 11 goliath Grow Tent. The help I received today was great I only wish I received it a month ago. Bottom line though is communication is critical to a successful business. I don't feel I was given any special treatment nor was I treated unfairly. ![]() I'm very appreciative that Jeff took the time to reach out to me today rectify the situation. 10/1/21 (updated again) Customer service gets you a long way in any industry. I think at this point GGT would be making a positive step by at least sending me some shipping information so I would have some knowledge of when these two pending items might arrive. Again thank you for the opportunity to voice my opinion which I know is likely unpopular. Colin 10/1/21 (post response) While I appreciate someone taking the time to post an apology is sorts I have to think if there was a true desire to rectify the situation I would have the correct 2 ft extension in my possession and the RMA sticker for the CFM kit that didn't fit this tent in the first place. I will never order anything from gorilla grow tent again. I don't feel like getting into details but I'll just say make sure you have all your ducks in a row before clicking the purchase button. I received products that did not work together, some of the blame is mine granted, but the fact that it's taken so long to have a working tent is pathetic. It's very hard to get a person on the phone and shipping has been unbelievably slow. If you have any issue with your product getting in touch with the company to get it corrected is a nightmare. The tent itself Is good but I initially ordered it on August 14th and it is now September 30th and I do not have everything I had hoped to get. The review of my gorilla grow tent unfortunately has to include my experience with customer service. I just wish that there was an extra little bit of play at the very bottom of the zipper to allow for easier use when running a bed of soil instead of pots. They also don't catch on flaps or anything annoying. Way more than the zippers on my other tents. You can put quite a bit of lateral load on them before they fail. ![]() I love how substantial and "tough" the zippers are. It could easily be argued that a 20"x40" bed of soil would work better and totally eliminate my issue (they just don't sell beds that size unless you pay for custom sized beds or make them yourself). Again, this wouldn't be an issue with any other style of pot other than a bed of soil that uses the same footprint as the tent itself. It's just hard to get the zipper started after you open it all the way. With the zipper styles GGT uses (straight down the middle of the tent as opposed to a curving style of zipper seen on other tents and actual camping tents), it can make it hard to zip up the front of the tent down where the soil is pushing up against the door flaps. I started growing in living soil and am using a 2x4 bed of soil in the 2x4 tent. Just some friendly design criticism from a professional designer who loves the product. It's a five star rating regardless of what I say next because it's not GGT's fault. And, please keep in mind that I'm nit-picking here. It's height is something to be seen! It's so impressive and the extra height makes the whole system much more effective because you can use that extra volume at the top of the tent for equipment while still having more than enough height for growing. It's built extremely well and is simply a very high quality product.
